France’s Ministry of Ecological and Solidarity Transition has revealed the results of the sixth round of tenders for Commercial and Industrial (C&I) rooftop Photovoltaic (PV) systems for the 2021-26 period.

A total of 362.2 MW of solar power was awarded to 60 developers, with an average final price of €0.1021/kWh.

Leading Developers

Leading the pack is TotalEnergies, securing the largest share with 80.1 MW, which represents 22% of the total allocation.

Urbasolar follows closely behind with 30.1 MW, making up 8% of the total allocation.

The Sun’R-RGreen consortium was awarded 26.2 MW, Reden Solar won 19.7 MW, Akuo secured 18.2 MW, Neoen received 14.4 MW, and Solveo was allocated 13.9 MW.

In total, 42 developers were successful in the tender process, with 23 of them receiving less than 5 MW each.

Comparing this sixth round to previous tenders, the fifth tender allocated 378 MW of solar to 60 developers at an average final price of €0.10195/kWh.

The fourth tender distributed 57.6 MW across 16 projects at an average final price of €0.10452/kWh.
